Now that India have won their Pool B match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the official broadcaster of the 2015 Cricket World Cup, Star Sports, has come out with the next version of the Mauka Mauka ad. (Watch it in the tweet below)
The UAE, winning the toss and opting to bat first, couldn’t get going as the Indian bowlers struck at regular intervals to dismiss the opposition for just 102 runs. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers, grabbing 4 wickets for 25 runs in his 10 overs. Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja picked two wickets each.
In reply, India chased the target down in 18.5 overs for the loss of Shikhar Dhawan, who was caught brilliantly at point when on 14. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, however, took the team past the line with ease, scoring 57 and 33 respectively.
With 3 wins in 3 matches, the MS Dhoni-led team are on top of the points table in their pool. They also enjoy a very healthy run-rate of 2.63, which gives them a great chance to end the league stage on top and in turn face an easier position in quarter-finals.
