At the Palam B grounds in Delhi, captain Harpreet Singh's 91 laid the platform for Chattisgarh's massive win over Madhya Pradesh. Ishwar Pandey picked up four wickets, and Anshul Pandya's valiant 59, weren't enough to spare MP a 122-run defeat.

In Delhi, Saurashtra lost to the home team by five wickets, with Gautam Gambhir starring with a 48-ball 62. Unmukt Chand got out off the first ball, and in the opposite camp, Robin Uthappa to a four-ball duck.

Twin half-centuries from Sheldon Jackson and Cheteshwar Pujara took Saurashtra to 237, with Suboth Pathi picking up a fifer. In response, Gambhir led from the front, assisted well by even as Rishabh Pant failed.
