The Plate Group encounter between Bihar and Mizoram at the Moti Bagh Stadium in Vadodara was a one-sided affair with Bihar thrashing the minnows by nine wickets.

Batting first, the opening batsmen of Mizoram got 44 runs on the board. However, they suffered a major collapse losing all 10 wickets after scoring just 39 more runs. Apart from the openers, none of the other batsmen even managed to get to double digits, with as many as five batsmen getting out for a duck.

In response, Vikas Ranjan led the attack and scored a brisk half-century, taking his side to a comfortable victory in the end.
