Team India skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's gala reception ceremony at the St. Regis' Astor Ballroom in Mumbai's Lower Parel played host to some big names from the Bollywood industry and the cricketing fraternity. The couple tied the knot in Tuscany, Italy earlier this month.

After months of speculation, the couple got married in a private ceremony which was witnessed only by family members and close acquaintances in Tuscany, Italy on December 11, 2017. The Indian skipper opted out of the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka after taking part in the Test series, indicating that he was going to tie the knot sometime in the near future.

Heart of the Matter

Kohli and Anushka, who are fondly referred to as 'Virushka', landed in India to have a big-fat reception in Delhi which preceded the massive reception party in Mumbai.

The high-profile wedding reception was attended by Anil Kumble, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Rohit Sharma.

The reception also hosted a wide array of Bollywood superstars, who added more glamour to the celebrations.

What's Next?

Kohli, who will come out of a long break, is set to travel with the team as India take on South Africa for a Test series starting January 5, 2018, which will be followed by a limited-overs series.
