Indian skipper Virat Kohli has revealed that he will never pick up his bat again after he hangs up his boots. He further went on to add that he won't be seen around the scene once he is done with his international career.

Virat Kohli has been a regular fixture in the Indian team irrespective of the format for more than nine years now. He has been relentlessly churning runs all across the globe with phenomenal consistency. At 30, he is already more than halfway through his career.

In a video posted by on their Youtube channel, Kohli, on being asked whether he would like to play the Big Bash League after his retirement, said that he does not see himself playing anywhere else after he bids adieu to the Indian jersey.

Australian fans have been wanting to see the Indian cricketers in action in the BBL for quite a few years now. However, BCCI's unwavering stance about the participation of Indian cricketers in foreign T20 leagues is unlikely to change. Hence, we may not get to see the Indian cricketers playing in the BBL anytime soon.

The jam-packed international calendar is clearly taking a toll on Virat Kohli's body and the selectors have already started using him sparingly by resting him for series against weak teams. Last year, Kohli missed the Nidahas T20 Trophy, the test match against Afghanistan, the Asia Cup, and the T20I series against the West Indies at home.

Indian fans expect Virat Kohli to play till he is at least 35 and hopes that he features in the 2023 World Cup on the Indian soil, which also might be the last big tournament in his international career.
