Any special strategy today?Can’t really say it as a special strategy, but after losing couple of close matches, we were concentrating on (the) process. Even though our previous process was good, we couldn’t cross the winning line in the last two matches. So we thought of implementing the same process and get the result. Did the wicket assist bowlers?Yes, this wicket was favourable to fast bowlers. In previous matches, we started with spinners and since the pitch here worked well for the quicks, we opened with fast bowlers today. Was L Balaji’s absence the reason for your loss in the previous game? I don’t think so. We had enough runs on board to defend and we could have done it as well. But M Ashwin batted brilliantly and that changed the match. What do you think about the ground?This is a great ground, it can be compared to international level ground. It suits both batting and bowling. When a batsman settles down well, he can score big runs and if a bowler puts efforts, he will do well and pick wickets.
