Yuvraj is a match-winner - JP Duminy

The DD skipper expressed delight in having both Yuvraj and Zaheer in the squad

South African middle order batsman and Delhi Daredevils’ new captain JP Duminy expressed delight in having experienced Indian campaigners Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan in the squad ahead of his team’s opener against the Chennai Super Kings at Chennai.

Speaking to iplt20.com, he hailed Yuvraj as a matchwinner and said that he is confident in his abilities to win a few matches on his own in the tournament. "He [Yuvraj] is a match-winner and I have no doubt that in this IPL he will win games on his own. We have seen that year after year where he has put in big performances and I know he takes a lot of pride in his performance. I have no doubt we can expect some big things from him for DD this time," he said.

He also reserved praise for the veteran fast bowler Zaheer Khan who similar to Yuvraj finds himself out of the Indian team. "Zaheer's experience is definitely one not only I but many players in the squad will tap into."

Yuvraj was recently involved in a controversy as his dad made some remarks about Indian Skipper MS Dhoni. This is the second time this has happened in the last couple of months.
