With Mountain Biking as a means of breaking the stereotypes around women in India and with an initiative to promote the sport amongst women, Vamini Sethi, a successful banker at a renowned international MNC in Gurgaon will ride across Sri Lanka over a span of 9 days from 14 June - 23 June 2015 and will cover a distance of approximately 1000 kms.
Vamini's ride across Sri Lanka – presented by HASTPA and supported by UT Bikes with Cycle Chan as the accessory partner will roll out from tomorrow – 14th of June 2015 from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Mr Ashish Sood – Director – Strategy and Communications (HASTPA), who himself is a well known mountain biker will be riding along with Vamini across Sri Lanka as a technical support and will also be a moral support to the daredevil throughout her journey.
This ride will be an inspiration to all the women to explore the extraordinary in them.
