SCOTT Sports India hosted Tour de France screening

Enthusiasts at the SCOTT Sports India event

Bangalore, 13th July 2015: SCOTT Sports India, leading manufacturer of high-end cycling, running, motor and winter sports products hosted a live screening of team trial stage of the 102th Tour de France bicycle race in Bangalore on 12th July 2015.

TDF screening was an event bringing cycling enthusiast together under one roof. The event promoted the spirit of cycling wherein SCOTT & ISSUZU owners gather to watch the screening. One of the intriguing aspect of the evening being the Rollapaluza competition, where Scott owners challenged each other for a 1 minute trainer bout. The one who covered the maximum distance on the bicycle eventually won the competition. Apart from this Scott also introduced Faizal PJ who is one of their Scott Future Stars.

Talking about the successful event Mr. Jaymin Shah, Country Head, India said, We are very happy witnessing the success of the event in the first year itself. We look forward to hosting the event annually hereon. It was enthralling to watch international cyclists competing with one another. We hope to fuel the passion for cycling through more such endeavors”

About Tour de France 2015: Running from Saturday July 4th to Sunday July 26th 2015, the 102th Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,360 kilometres. The entire event covers different profiles such as flat, hill, & mountain stages. It also consists of one Individual & Team Trail stage. Like Last year two SCOTT teams, The Orica Green Edge Cycling & I AM Cycling are participating at the TDF 2015.
