Sadly the GTA V Online Heists feature that players have been looking forward to will not be included in the game when it launches on new-gen consoles next week. But the good news is that Rockstars games does have plans to introduce the online heists feature to the game sometime soon. And it will be in the form of a free update for all platforms!.
A recent announcement from the Rockstar Newswire confirms that online heists will be included in a new free update. “Get ready for continuing free content updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists (which, to be absolutely clear, will be available for all four consoles to enjoy)”
Rockstar games has not revealed any details on what these online heists will involve nor have they given a release date for the update either, just that it will be out “soon”. Hopefully by “soon” they mean a week’s time. The devs have pointed in the recent post that they have taken fans feedback into account for this feature and that further feedback will be extremely helpful for them to “get ready” for future content for the game. Rockstar is really doing a good job in keeping their players happy by not only taking player feedback into account but also keeping their update free.
Grand Theft Auto V will launch next week on November 18th for the PS4 and Xbox One. The launch will include a day one update which will consist of some bug fixes and optimizations.
