Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 took what Neversoft had done with THPS 3 and perfected the formula. It is easily one of the best action sports games of all time.

THPS 4 introduced Free Roam of levels for the first time in the series and also "skitching" where players could skitch behind cars to gain extra speed.

THAW brought together the best aspects of the Pro Skater and Underground series

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is one of my favourite games of all time and after recently finishing it on PS2, I can safely say that it's my favourite game in the series.

The story is whacky and brilliant as you help put together the American Wasteland theme park. For the first time, instead of different levels, we got the city of Los Angeles with different connected areas to play around in. The game also introduced BMX bikes for the first time.

With smooth and responsive controls, the game was a blast to finish.
