Real Madrid purchased the services of the precociously talented Colombian after his Golden Boot winning performances in the 2014 FIFA World Cup for a princely sum of around €80 million. Unfortunately for James, the Real Madrid squad is a little too packed with world class talent for even a player of his ability to start regularly.

The Colombian’s lack of game time at Madrid does not mean that the player has lost his touch. James possesses a wand of a left foot which can work wonders with the ball in unimaginable ways.

So much that on FIFA 17, the attacking midfielder has better crossing abilities (88) than Ronaldo, who was a world class winger before evolving into one of the world’s deadliest strikers.

James, as displayed during the World Cup in Rio, seems to have perfected his long range shooting. He has scored a number of belters for Real Madrid and in addition to this jack in the box ability, he is also adept at retaining the ball with a passing rating of 84, which is again better to Ronaldo's 81.
