5 Worst weapons you shouldn't use in Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite is still one of if not the most popular video game in the world right now with everyone and their grandma playing the game. With season 7 on the verge of ending in about two weeks, we thought we'd take some time to look at the weapons of Fortnite over the next couple of weeks.

In our first of the series, we take a look at 5 weapons in Fortnite that look more useful than they are and that you should actually avoid if you find something better on the battlefield.

Before we continue this, I just want to point out that list is based on personal preference. If I've named a weapon you love, please don't bring out the pitchforks.

#5 Six Shooter

Six Shooter

The Six Shooter was introduced into Fortnite Battle Royale around the time Red Dead Redemption 2 came out and despite being really cool, it's a weapon I never use. It's just not that good. The fact that it does low damage and has low accuracy means that in a heated fight, you can't rely on this to get you out of it.

#4 Semi-Auto sniper

Semi-Automatic Sniper

The semi-auto sniper rifle comes in the Epic and Legendary variants but it's easily the worst sniper rifle in the game, in my humble opinion. The only redeeming quality of this weapon is the fact that it's has a 10 bullet magazine meaning you can fire in quick succession. However, it only does 66 damage for body shots meaning that you're better off with any other sniper rifle in the game, including the scoped assault rifle.

What really hurts the semi-auto sniper is that the other sniper rifles in the game like the Heavy Sniper, Thermal Scoped Sniper and the Bolt-Action Sniper are just way better.

#3 Hand Cannon

Hand Cannon

The hand cannon sounds really cool in theory but it's terrible especially in a close-range firefight, exactly where its supposed to excel. It has high damage but the low accuracy and the slow-fire rate really stand against it.

If you're in at close range, you're better off using any of the shotguns rather than this mess.

#2 Boogie Bomb

Boogie Bomb

Since it's been nerfed, the Boogie Bomb taking up a weapon slot is a criminal offence. The only game mode you'd really use this at this point in time would be Food Fight and Disco Domination. Dynamite and the basic grenade are better options right now.

#1 Burst Assault Rifle

Burst Assault Rifle

The Burst Assault Rifle is the one assault rifle I never use. It doesn't have particularly high damage but what really hurts this gun is the seemingly random spread of the bullets when you fire. At medium range, this gun is almost unusable. You're better off with a Common regular Assault Rifle.
