5 WWE 2K17 wrestlers whose ratings have been hit the most

WWE 2K17 has seen a few Superstars with dipped ratings

Everyone has been a fan of the WWE at one time or another. The show has been running since January 1993. WWE Superstars have inspired one and all. But as all good things come to an end, our WWE heroes have withered away as they have aged.

Every year, some of the super-strong Superstars become ‘not-so-strong’ and some put off their wrestling shoes for good. WWE 2K17 has reflected real life wrestlers to the fullest. On the basis of their form and performances, rivalries and appearances, WWE Superstars and divas are rated accordingly.

Here is a list of Superstars and divas that have seen their overall ratings take a major hit.

#5 Tyler Breeze

Current Rating:70Previous Rating:83

Mattias “Matt” Clement, the better half of Breezango, also known as Tyler Breeze, has a contract with SmackDown. After signing with the WWE, he made his debut in WWE’s developmental territory- Florida Championship Wrestling in 2010.

Five years later, he got selected for the main roster during a “Miz TV” segment. He started with great promise but failed to put up with the expectations as time passed by. This year, his WWE 2K17 character saw a degradation of 13 units and this could be attributed to his booking this past year.

With no major titles as of yet, Tyler Breeze is really low in the ranks of WWE 2K17. Weighing 206 pounds and with a height of 6’0”, Tyler Breeze has an egoistic personality trait. With skill points rating of 23 and an overall rating of 70, Tyler will not be one of your trump cards as of now.

#4 Darren Young

Current Rating:72Previous Rating:86

Frederick “Fred” Douglas Rosser III, better known by his ring name, Darren Young, has a contract with Raw. He is one of the very rare wrestlers who are openly gay. Darren Young has won the WWE Tag Team Championship once.

His injury has led to the downfall of his WWE 2K character, as his overall rating fell from a high 86 down to a 72, putting him in the lower ranks of the game. Darren Young has a prideful personality trait and is cheered into the ring by the WWE Universe.

With a skill points rating of a low 17, and overall rating of 72, Darren Young will not be your first choice to win any big match-ups for the time being. His signature move is “Get Chuck”. His first WWE Game was WWE 2K14.

#3 Jack Swagger

Current Rating:71Previous Rating:85

Donald Jacob “Jake” Hager Jr. has signed with SmackDown under the ring name of Jack Swagger. The Superstar is a two-time World Champion.

He has also bagged the WWE United States Championship. Jack Swagger is the #3 on this list because of the major hit his overall rating has seen in the 2K17 version of the game, a hit of 14.

The two-time World Champion had a rating of a high 85 the previous year, which is now just 71. Weighing 263 pounds, and with a height of 6’ 6”, Jack Swagger is no doubt, a mighty beast in the ring. With his signature move- The Patriotic Lock, the beast can overthrow the strongest of foes.

However, his drop in ratings could be because of his absence from WWE television as of late. He first starred in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010. He has a prideful personality trait and a skill point rating of 24. He is generally greeted when he enters the arena.

#2 Fandango

Current Rating:69Previous Rating:84

Chris Jonathan Hussey, who has a contract with SmackDown, performs under the ring name of Fandango. He, together with Tyler Breeze (who is the #5 of this list) makes up the tag team called Breezango.

Fandango started his career in the year 1999. Since then, he hasn’t won any major Championship in WWE. Fandango’s WWE 2K17 character has seen a great loss after his poor performances in the previous year, as he now has an overall rating of 69 (as compared to 84 last year).

In fact, Fandango is ranked #144 out of the 145 Superstars on the roster.

#1 Goldust

Current Rating:70Previous Ration:86

Goldust’s WWE 2K17 entrance

Dustin Pattrick Runnels, better known as Goldust, is one of the oldest active WWE Superstars. He and his partner, R-Truth, are together known as “The Golden Truth”.

Weighing 243 pounds, with a height of 6’ 6”, Goldust has a skill point rating of 21 and a current overall rating of 70, which is 16 points lower than it was last year, owing to a dissatisfactory year and embarrassing comedy. Goldust’s signature moves are the “Curtain call” and the “Shattered dreams”.

Goldust first starred in the game “WWE in your house”.
