#6. Spring Man (ARMS)
Or any other characters from the ARMS series. Spring Man is currently an assist trophy in the game. He a few other characters are also Spirits in the game. But the characters from the ARMS series have a lot of potential to fit right into the Smash Bros Ultimate universe.
An Up + B ability to grapple onto edges or a Side + B ability to smash with the extensible Arms would truly be a great sight to see.

#5. Paper Mario
We already have so many variations of Link and one variation of Mario. Why not another variation of Mario in honour of the iconic game? Paper Mario is one of the best Mario based games released. It was released for the N64 back in 2000 and it was truly a creative game.
The game aside, Paper Mario would be an easy addition to the game if he were to retain Mario's existing abilities in the game.
