How do you access Alan Wake 2 The Lake House? Countdown explored

As with the first Night Springs DLC, you can access The Lake House via the main menu of the game. It will be located under the Expansions tab.

The best part of The Lake House is that it is a separate entity from the main story. In other words, you don't need to beat the base game to play the DLC; you can start it right away.

Alternately, you can also begin the story for the DLC in-game by approaching FBC Agent Estevez during the "Scratch" mission. However, we recommend playing Alan Wake and Saga Anderson's plot first to get an idea of what the whole deal is about, especially since Estevez will be the playable character in this DLC.

This new plotline also aims to be the scariest one yet in the Alan Wake universe, so players should be prepared for the ride ahead.

That said, Alan Wake 2 The Lake House is only available for owners of the Deluxe Edition, so base game fans will need to upgrade to be able to play the DLC.
