The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom features a plethora of unique locations, each of which has its own story and gameplay significance. From the abundant Zonai Shrines that you can visit throughout Hyrule to the various settlements scattered across this region, this title's open world has plenty for you to explore and discover.
While exploring Hyrule in TotK, you will come across Landmarks called Forge Constructs. These are essentially shops where you can upgrade Energy Cells in exchange for Crystallized Charges. The Zonai Energy Cells are among the most important tools that you'll need to use while crafting via Ultrahand, and upgrading those allows you to use them for much longer.

Forge Constructs can be found throughout Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
There are a total of six Forge Constructs that you can find in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. They are scattered across Hyrule, including the Great Sky Island to the Depths, and everywhere in between. You unlock the very first Forge Construct automatically on the Great Sky Island, but for the other ones, you will need to manually search them.
Here's a list of all Forge Construct locations in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom:
- Great Sky Island Forge Construct (0472, -1680, 1371): Unlocked automatically, and offers you Crystallized Charge for three Zonaite.
- Great Abandoned Central Mine Forge Construct (-0861, -1941, -0522): You unlock this Forge Construct after defeating the boss in the Abandoned Central Mine. It offers one Crystallized Charge for three Zonaite and one Lange Crystallized Charge for three Large Zonaite Chunks.
- Abandoned Kara Kara Mine Forge Construct (-3186, -2508, -0475): This Forge Construct can be found in the southwest region of the Depths, near the Tatayam Lightroom. It sells one Crystallized Charge for three Zonaite and one Lange Crystallized Charge for three Large Zonaite Chunks.
- Abandoned Hateno Mine Forge Construct (3527, -2188, -0588): You can find this Forge Construct towards the east of the Depths. You can access that region via Meda Mountain Chasm. This Forge Construct offers one Crystallized Charge for three Zonaite and a single Lange Crystallized Charge for three Large Zonaite Chunks.
- Abandoned Lurelin Mine Forge Construct (2948, -3373, -0453): This Forge Construct is also located near south of the Meda Mountain Chasm. It provides one Crystallized Charge for three Zonaite and one Lange Crystallized Charge for three Large Zonaite Chunks.
- Abandoned Lanayru Mine Forge Construct (3248, 0550, -0750): You will need to go to the southeast Lanayru Wetlands Chasm to get to this Forge Construct. It offers one Crystallized Charge for three Zonaite and a single Lange Crystallized Charge for three Large Zonaite Chunks.
Forge Constructs are easily the most important locations inside the Depths since these are the only places where you can upgrade the Energy Cells in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
It is also recommended to have a good stock of Zonaite Crystals before you visit these landmarks so you can immediately convert them into Crystallized Charges, used for upgrading Energy Cells.
