Amazon taking pre-orders for Mario Party 10 line of Amiibo

The Wave 3 Amiibos by Nintendo

The Mario Part 10 line of Amiibo have sold out in just a few hours on Amazon. The retail site began taking pre-orders for the figures on the 29th, but is now out of stock. The figures included altered version of Mario characters Princess Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser and the exclusive Captain Toad. This is probably a good time for other stores to take note and open their pre-orders, as its likely to sell out in a few hours. If you’re planning on buying an Amiibo figure, then it’s best to keep track of these stores or cancellations, as restocks could take some time to arrive.

The Amiibo figures from the Mario Party 10 line will function similarly to the Super Smash Bros. figures. The only difference with this set are the poses and a new base design, so it isn’t worth buying if you own the original versions of these figures.

The figures will offer unlockable features in many Nintendo games and will also act as trainable AI partners in the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It is also likely to become a collectable if Nintendo continues to face stock issues.

Nintendos Wave 4 Super Smash Bros. Amiibos are yet to go on sale. Judging by how fast the previous wave sold out, it is quite possible that the next wave will also sell out just as quickly. The fourth wave of Amiibo is likely to release by March 20th, so be sure to check up on retail sites every now and then if you don’t want to miss it.
