#2 Colour coded death boxes
This one is another of Apex's mechanics that take the BR genre forward. When you finish off an opponent, the boxes they drop are always colour coded so you know what kind of loot you can find in them just by looking at it from a distance.
This helps in those tight situations where you need to stay on the move and only have time to look through one box before moving on.
#1 Damage depends on area shot
This one may be a little straight forward but I thought I'll include it anyway. In Apex, like many FPS' this generation, the damage dealt depends on the area of the opponent's body that you shoot.
Shots to the legs and the lower half of the body deal less damage while shots to the head and chest area do the most damage. Remember this one in those crunch moments.
