Apex Legends is the game of the hour right now. The game has become insanely popular in a short span of time and everyone has only good things to say about it. However, the game is not at all easy and due to its champion-based system, it brings some complexity to the table.

Gibraltar is supposed to be a tank in the game. His kit revolves around absorbing damage while allowing your teammates to exert pressure.

His 'Q' ability lets him put a dome-like shield in the targeted area. This shield is impenetrable. This means you will take no damage when you are inside the shield. One thing to note is that while you won't take any damage you won't be able to deal any damage either. The dome is useful in a lot of scenarios. If you are low on health it gives time to you and your teammates to replenish the health. It can also be used as cover. While it's impenetrable enemies can come inside and shoot, so beware of that.

Gibraltar's passive grants him a personal shield whenever he is aiming down the sight(ADS). Apex Legends is a fast-paced game where many players tend to use hip fire over ADS, especially when in close combats. However, using ADS with Gibraltar is very efficient. You can absorb a lot of damage while dealing huge amounts of damage yourself.

Gibraltar's ultimate is similar to Bangalore's in a sense that you throw a detonator in a targeted location and barrage of missiles will fall down on the location. However, unlike Bangalore's ultimates, it detonates immediately. It doesn't have the stunning effect on the missiles but you deal more damage. It's a great tool for zoning people out or just ambushing in general.
