Former creator of Assassin’s Creed, Patrice Désilets is now working on a new AAA title which will be a “historical-action-survival” game. Désilets left Ubisoft last year in order to set up his new studio Panache. And though he hasn’t given out much info on the upcoming title, he did tell GameInformer that the game would be in third-person perspective. He also spoke about the importance of strong AAA titles and that he “believes in them”.
"AAA Games, I believe in them," Désilets said. "I believe wholeheartedly that this medium we call 'video games' can be a positive force for change in our society and that AAA quality gaming experiences have unmatched strength to achieve this."
Désilets was also the creative director for The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. So there’s no doubt that his next title has a lot of potential.
