Community challenges and new zone now available on Lara Craft and the Temple of Osiris

Crystal Dynamics have announced that there are number community-shared challenges now available in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. These challenges range from defeating a set of enemies in a limited amount of time to boss fights, all of which are random events that players within the community can engage in. Completing the events rewards players with exclusive gear and items.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the latest title in the Tomb Raider series. The game is a top-down isometric action puzzler which features a rather young looking Lara Croft working alongside Egyptian gods to stop a fellow God.

The game now features community shared challenges as well as Opt-in challenges where players have to face and survive an onslaught of elements including meteors and ice storms. But for those of you who do not want to participate in these opt-in challenges, you can simply switch them off in the options menu.

A new zone called the Sunken City has also been added to the game. The entrance to the new zone can be found in the overworld. Crystal Dynamics has also promised that Sunken City will feature more tombs to explore “in the near future”. The new zone is only available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for now but it should be releasing on the PC sometime soon.
