Day Z: Complete release schedule and new price point announced

Updates on Day Z to include tons of new features

Day Z which first started off as an award winning mod has now moved onto becoming a stand-alone open world survival horror title with relentless PVP where players are as much of a threat as the zombies – very much like the modern zombie genre.

The final form of the game is slated to release sometime in 2016 which is a pretty long way off, but in the mean time the game has undergone a lot of improvements since its first early alpha testing. Bohemia Interactive, the developers/publishers behind the game have announced the list of scheduled updates and progress towards the 1.0 build in their recent forum post.

A ton of new features will be included and changes such has dynamic events, improved zombie AI, animal companions, vehicles and much more will be added with these updates.

New price point for Day Z announced

A new price point has been announced for the game as well. Originally priced at 23.99 EUR/29.99 USD, the game will now be priced at 27.99 EUR/34.99 USED which is due to take effect next week. So, now is the best time to buy the game before its price hike. The full release is expected to be priced at 39.99 EUR/49.99 USD.
