The missions in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO are vast and varied, and take you to some of the franchise's most popular locations. One of the main missions is "Arrival on Planet Namek," which is also the home planet of Nameless Namekian and Dende. Goku's storyline in Sparking ZERO begins with the "Arrival on Planet Namek" mission, and the story requires him to engage in battle.

The battle in question is with the Ginyu Force, who have been summoned by Frieza to take down Goku. The Ginyu Force consists of Jeice and Burter, both of whom can prove challenging to defeat. The mission has two routes via which it can be approached. This guide explains how to do so.

Playing the storyline will eventually see you reach a point where you are presented with a battle. From here, your actions in combat will determine the route you are presented with.

Fighting Jeice

Stepping up to challenge Goku is the formidable Jeice, who will immediately engage in combat with Goku. The game will instruct you to not deflect even a single Crusher Ball that Jeice throws in Goku's direction.

Fighting Jeice without deflecting the Crusher balls will result in Goku emerging victorious, and Burter will retreat from the battlefield, with you not having to challenge him in combat. This, despite the straightforward nature of the battle, is considered as the alternative approach to this mission.

Fighting Burter

On the other hand, should you ignore the game's instructions and instead deflect any of Jeice's Crusher Balls, Burter will step onto the battlefield to challenge Goku. However, this is not the only way to initiate this fight.

Setting the difficulty to 'Easy' will result in only Berter showing up on the battlefield, as alternative routes and What Ifs are unavailable on this difficulty. This is considered as the canon or lore-appropriate approach to this mission.
