Fallout 76 is Bethesda Game Studios' first online multiplayer title, leading to huge anticipation among the fans. However, once the game hit the stores, it was nothing short of a colossal disappointment.

Many reviewers dismissed the game as being a failure during the launch. Severe criticism was laid out at the core gameplay, technical issues and the overall game design.

The Guardian described the Fallout 76 as "a pointless walk in the post-apocalypse."

Furthermore, the developers of the game were also embodied in a controversy regarding the quality of the physical content included with the special edition of the game.

Nevertheless, the latest update to the game by Bethesda Game Studios managed to garner a few fans in its support, as the new update addresses numerous issues that make playing Fallout 76 a much more pleasurable experience. The PC update is already out while the console versions of the game will be receiving the patch on 15 January 2019.

Fallout players took to Twitter to express how they felt about the game, and here, we highlight some of the best reactions to Fallout 76's latest update.

Many reacted positively, stating that the latest patch introduces quite a few fixes that greatly enhance the overall experience of Fallout.

Well, not everyone took the new update with similar levels of enthusiasm. People were still disappointed with the connectivity issues that have plagued the game right since its launch.

Unsurprisingly, there were also requests pouring in urging the company behind the franchise to announce a release date for The Elder Scrolls VI.

The latest patch fixes a host of issues in the game, and couple more updates down the line still could turn Fallout 76 into the wondrous multiplayer that it was meant to be.

Fallout 76 is available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
