Football is by far the biggest sport on the face of this planet and quite naturally there are a plethora of players playing the beautiful game. Each footballer is different from the other in umpteen ways, a fact which is made absolutely clear by the EA Sports’ FIFA franchise.

While there is no dearth of players who can do all sorts on a football field (read Cristiano Ronaldo), there are quite a few who have a strong foothold in only one of the key attributes. Now, on FIFA 17, an outfield player is labelled with six different characteristics, namely, pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physicality.

Here, in this slideshow, we are going to focus on five players who have carved out a niche for themselves in only one of the aforementioned attributes. So, if you are looking for someone who is either strong or pacy to put in your teams, this list is exclusively for you.

#5 George Elokobi

The 30-year-old defender from Cameroon has an overall rating of 63 on the game, which could have been way less if not for his physical attributes. Being a defender, Elokobi has an overall defensive rating of 60, with an average standing tackle rating of 64.

Attributes such as pace (49), shooting (42), passing (52) and dribbling (43) are placed on the backburner when we compare them with his physicality. The 5’10’’ tall player has his physicality rated at 80 in the game.

While his jumping has a 71 rating, aggression has 70, his strength is a mind-boggling 95. Considering his age, the stamina is on the lower side, with a rating of 60. All in all, Elokobi is by far one of the most physical players on the game, but other than that he has nothing on the plate.

#4 Nnamdi Oduamadi

The 26-year-old is currently plying his trade in Italy with the once-mighty AC Milan as a forward. On FIFA 17, Oduamandi has been given an overall rating of 66. What stands out though is his serious pace, with both sprint speed and acceleration having a rating of 94 each.

The lanky forward is short on other attributes though, with passing rated at 54 and shooting a lowly 50. Given the fact he is a winger, his dribbling attributes are a bit on the higher side, with a rating of 73. He is short on the physical side of it as well, with a rating of 62.

Overall, users will like him in their teams if they want some serious pace down the wings in crunch matches, but other than that, he doesn’t have much to offer.

#3 Mathis Bolly

The Ivory Coast winger has been given an overall rating of 67 on the world-famous game. However, the push in his ratings on the game is given by the unbelievable pace he possesses. Bolly’s pace is rated at an eye-popping 96, with acceleration at 97 and sprint speed at 96.

Other characteristics of his are not nearly impressive, with shooting given a total of 61 and passing a mere 55. Being a winger one might expect him to be a decent dribbler, but with the rating of 65 for the same, the Ivorian cannot be termed an out and out dribbler.

Moreover, with his physicality rated at 58, Bolly is definitely not a jack of all trades, but a master of one.

#2 Tony Tchani

The Cameroon international is probably the best player mentioned on this list. With an overall rating of 70, the defensive midfielder has an average rating in all but one of the attributes.

Pace (63), shooting (62), passing (62), dribbling (63) and defending (65) don’t actually make for a bad reading. However, when one compares all of these ratings with his physical prowess, they stand nowhere close.

He has a mammoth rating of 88 in physicality, with stamina and strength, both given a rating of 90 each. Tchani’s aggression is rated at 85 and jumping at 63, which make him one of the most physically strong players in the game.

#1 Adebayo Akinfenwa

The Wycombe Wanderers striker is rated as the strongest player on FIFA 17. Though his overall rating is lowly 64, his physical attributes are rated at 80.

Even though the 34-year-old is a striker, his shooting has been rated at 60, dribbling at 60 and pace at 45. Akinfenwa’s passing is not eye-catching as well, with a below-average rating of 51.

What stands out, though, is his strength which is rated a humongous 98, making him the strongest player in the game. The other attributes in the ‘physical’ section are not as towering as strength, but it is enough to make Akinfenwa one of the most single attributed players in the game.
