Bayern Munich might just be the only team among the big sides in Europe to have more downgrades than upgrades. The German champions have been way below par this season and it won't be a surprise if the majority of the players get a downgrade.

However, all has not been that bad for them and there are a couple of players who have played out of their skin. These players have done just about enough to get an upgrade and are bound to get one.

For the latest news on FIFA 19 Winter Upgrades, stick to Sportskeeda.

Here are three Bayern Munich players who deserve an upgrade:

#3 – Niklas Süle

Niklas Süle has made the most of Jerome Boateng's lack of form this season and sealed his place in the starting XI. The 23-year-old has been highly consistent and also the reason why they have not conceded more goals.

Especially with Mats Hummels not doing much to help him and Manuel Neuer in bad form, Sule has had his work cut out. The young German has still done ever so well to keep a calm head and put in more than a 100% every single time.

Rated at 84 in FIFA 19, it looks very likely that he will get an upgrade in February. With Boateng rated at 85 right now, there is a very good chance that they will be switching the ratings.

The former Manchester City defender is set for a downgrade and with the way Sule has played, he deserves an upgrade. EA should improve Sule's defending, physical and even his pace stats. He has shown that he is worth way more than what they have given him right now.

His passing too has been good and it won't be a surprise if that is also given a boost.

#2 – Serge Gnabry

Serge Gnabry has been the only forward at Bayern Munich who has tried something different this season. The likes of Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben and others have done very little to give them that edge over the opponents and it has shown in their results.

The former Arsenal man is showing his former side exactly what they are missing. Him, along with Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson, are showing the Premier League youngsters that they should try their hand in the Bundesliga.

Rated at just 82 in FIFA 19, Gnabry has to be in contention to get a good upgrade. While it won't be a massive one like Sancho is going to get, the young German should get around +2.

His pace and dribbling stats are just perfect right now but the shooting and passing stats need to be boosted a lot.

#1 – Leon Goretzka

With 5 goals in Bundesliga this season, Leon Goretzka is Bayern Munich's 2nd highest scorer. The former Schalke 04 midfielder has settled in well at his new club and in dominating the midfield when supported well.

Rated at 83 in the game, Goretzka has proved that he is way better than what EA have portrayed him to be in FIFA 19. With players like Javi Martinez and Arturo Vidal rated higher than him, it wouldn't be a good thing for EA to keep him at such a low rating.

While there won't be a big boost in his ratings next month in the winter rating refresh, EA should consider giving him a boost of +2 – matching his IF card. Those stats reflect his qualities well and that should be made his base card too.
