Fortnite Season 8: Week 1 Challenges & Cheat Sheet

Fortnite has released Season 8, with the Winter themed Season 7 closing shop. The map is different, the Battle Pass is different and the skins and challenges are different. The Battle Pass costs only $10, giving players access to all the above mentioned. Each season the Battle Pass renews and players need to buy it.

Here's a short overview of the Season 8 Battle Pass from Epic Games themselves.

This time, the theme of the new Season is based on Pirates. There are also silly banana suits and snakes, but many of the skins are Pirate themed. There is even a Pirate themed weapon which is a Cannon, allowing players to deal 100 damage on direct hit and allowing players to launch in different areas.

A big update in gameplay was the addition of "Party Assist". Players can join a party with their friends and help them to assist with the Weekly, Daily and Battle Pass Challenges. This is a pretty neat feature which can help players not as skilled to have their friends help them to get V-bucks, skins, and treasures

Free Challenges

• Visit all Pirate Camps (7)
• Search Chests at Retail Row or Junk Junction (7)
• Stage 1: Deal damage with a Shotgun and an Explosive weapon in a single match (2)

Battle Pass Challenges

• Visit a giant face in the desert, the jungle, and the snow (3)
• Use a Volcano Vent in different matches (5)
• Get an elimination with a Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and Explosive weapon (3)
• Deal damage to a vehicle driven by an opponent (200)
