The developers of Garena Free Fire periodically add several new and exciting events into the game to keep it fresh and engaging. These events usually provide players with free rewards, though they typically need to complete specific tasks to avail these rewards. This keeps the gamers hooked to the game, while also adding newer players.
The developers recently announced a new event — Booyah Day — which is highly-anticipated by the community.
All that we know about the Free Fire Booyah Day event
In an official post on its social media platforms, Garena Free Fire revealed the date of the event to be 25th October 2020.
A few weeks back, Free Fire had announced a collaboration with KSHMR, the American musician, record producer, rapper, and DJ. He also posted a video on his YouTube channel in which he revealed that he had made the theme song for the Booyah Day event, titled One More Round.
In the What’s Up Free Fire EP.3: Booyah Day video released with the OB24 update, there were glimpses of the various events. This major event will likely feature a check-in event, exchange event, and a web event. However, the details of each haven’t been revealed yet.
It will also be a global event, where players will be required to get as many Booyahs as possible to claim these rewards. The top 100 users will also receive special prizes from Captain Booyah himself.
New game mode
The video also mentions a new game mode, though details have not been announced so far.
As the video also states that top players will receive the rewards from Captain Booyah, there are speculations about adding the new character, ‘K’, into the game. However, this is mere speculation.
There will likely be a new theme in-game, and items like Gloo wall, skins, and a parachute.
