Genshin Impact 4.8 banner order for Phase 1 and Phase 2

The banner order for Genshin Impact's version 4.8 is finally out. The game just premiered its Special Program for its upcoming 4.8 version, called Summertide Scales and Tales, on July 5, 2024. The livestream took place on YouTube and Twitch. Those who missed it can watch it on the title's official YouTube channel.

During the livestream, HoYoverse revealed new content for Genshin Impact 4.8, including new events, characters, weapons, and much more. This article takes a look at the banner order of the upcoming characters and their weapons.

Genshin Impact 4.8 character banner order for Phase 1 and Phase 2

During Genshin Impact's 4.8 livestream, HoYoverse announced Emilie and gave more information on the character banner order. Here is a quick overview of the banner order:

Phase 1

Navia (5-star Geo Claymore character)
Nilou (5-star Hydro Sword character)

Phase 2

Emilie (5-star Dendro Poloearm character)
Yelan (5-star Hydro Bow character)

According to the official announcement, Genshin Impact 4.8 will kick off with the rerun banners of Navia and Nilou during the first phase. Emilie's debut banner will arrive during the second phase, accompanied by Yelan's rerun banner.

Although new characters usually get released in the first phase of a new patch, we have seen HoYoverse debuting one during the second phase. This would give players a good opportunity to farm more Primogems and be better prepared for Emilie's arrival.

The Genshin Impact 4.8 livestream announced a new 5-star polearm weapon called Lumidouce Elegy. This will be Emilie's signature weapon and will feature alongside her during her banner.

Phase 1

Verdict (5-star Claymore, Navia's signature weapon)
Key of Khaj-Nisut (5-star Sword, Nilou's signature weapon)

Phase 2

Lumidouce Elegy (5-star Polearm, Emilie's signature weapon)
Aqua Simulacra (5-star Bow, Yelan's signature weapon)

Although no official information is out yet, leaks suggest that Genshin Impact 4.8 will go live on July 17, 2024.
