Bing-Bang Finchball is an event launched in Genshin Impact version 4.8. This is a re-run of the Bing-Bang Finchball event that took place in version 3.8, in last year's summer patch. Genshin Impact 4.8 Bing-Bang Finchball event guide
The basic premise of Genshin Impact 4.8's Bing-Bang Finchball event requires you to launch Finchballs across the board and complete various objectives in order to win rewards. The game's new version adds two different modes to choose from: the Free & Easy Fun mode and the Hardly Even Hardball mode. You can pick and play either of these depending on your preferences.
Genshin Impact 4.8 Bing-Bang Finchball event: Eligibility
These are the requirements that have to be met before you can participate in the Bing-Bang Finchball event:
- Be at Adventure Rank 20 (or above).
- Need to have completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III "Song of the Dragon and Freedom."
If you don't meet these conditions, you will have to fulfill them before participating in the event.
Genshin Impact 4.8 Bing-Bang Finchball: How to unlock?
To unlock Genshin Impact 4.8's Bing-Bang Finchball event, you need to play the quest, Finches are Still the Cutest. It is very short and serves as an introduction to the event. All you have to do is talk to NPC Basima the Fifth in Fontaine's Romaritime Harbor, who will then give you an overview about the event.
Genshin Impact 4.8 Bing-Bang Finchball: How to play?
Bing-Bang Finchball in Genshin Impact 4.8 is divided into two modes: Free & Easy Fun and Hardly Even Hardball. The former has eight stages, while the latter mode has seven stages. These will not be available to play all at once. Instead, they will be unlocked one by one during the first four days of the event.
1) Free & Easy Fun mode
The Free & Easy Fun mode is a solo offering where you play by yourself. You will have to reach certain specified stage goals in order to obtain the rewards. Your main goal will be to launch the Finchballs to the highest scoring areas on the board. At certain stages, you will also have to knock out Rival Finchballs from the scoring area in order to maximize your score.
2) Hardly Even Hardball mode
The Hardly Even Hardball mode is a co-op offering, where you will match with an opponent player to play Bing-Bang Finchball. In this mode, you will have to beat your opponent by throwing your Finchballs in the highest scoring areas on the board. There will be a total of four rounds, following which a winner will be declared.
Playing both these game modes will give you Glittering Finch coins, which you can use to get rewards.

- Mora
- Fontaine Weapon Ascension materials
