Genshin Impact competition data shows 8 strongest DPS teams and their damages

Genshin Impact boasts an impressive roster of strong characters, but which units top the leaderboard? A recent competition held by Chinese players on the forum NGA, titled the Whale DPR Cup, aimed to determine the top whale teams in the game. The competition has concluded, and the top eight teams have been determined.

8 strongest teams in Genshin Impact, as revealed by Whale DPR Cup hosted on Chinese forum

The Whale DPR Cup hosted on Chinese forum NGA has ended, and the results have been declared, which reveal the 8 strongest teams currently in Genshin Impact right now.

The objective of the competition was to find out which teams could clear a single run of the Automated Supercomputing Field Generator boss (at World Level 9) the fastest. The rules included:

All characters at C6R5
No breaking the enemy shield
No mods or cheats allowed
No pre-stacking buffs (such as Arlecchino's Bond of Life) allowed

At the end of the competition, eight teams were identified as the strongest, with their clear times and average DPS numbers listed. According to the results, the following are the eight best DPS teams currently in Genshin Impact (listed in order).

1) Mualani, Furina, Xilonen, Xiangling

This team — with Mualani as DPS, Furina as sub-DPS, and Xilonen and Xiangling as supports — cleared the run in only 18 seconds. The True DPS of this setup was a whopping 1.14 million.

This suggests that a Mualani Vape DPS team is currently the strongest and most efficient in the game.

2) Furina, Xilonen, Xianyun, Xiangling

At higher constellations, Furina can be used as a DPS unit herself, as proved by this team of Furina, Xilonen, Xianyun and Xiangling.

This team cleared the run in 28 seconds, with a True DPS value of 7,38,000.

3) Neuvillette, Furina, Kazuha, Xilonen

Coming in third, Neuvillette's current best team cleared the run in exactly 30 seconds, with a True DPS value of 6,47,000.

Ever since his launch, Neuvillette has been one of the strongest characters in game, and even with the release of a very powerful Hydro DPS such as Mualani, he has still managed to hold his ground.

4) Arlecchino, Furina, Xilonen, Bennett

This team, with Arlecchino and Furina as DPS and Sub-DPS respectively, supported by Xilonen and Bennett, managed to clear the run in 31 seconds, just one second behind Neuvillette's team at No.3.

The team's True DPS value stood at 6,67,000.

5) Yelan, Furina, Kazuha, Xilonen

While Yelan is mostly used as a sub-DPS at lower constellations, she can be a very strong DPS unit at higher constellations, as proved by this team coming in fifth place.

With Furina as a sub-DPS and Kazuha and Xilonen as supports, this team ended their run in 34 seconds, with a True DPS value of 5,70,000.

Teams that comprise of Electro and Dendro characters are very strong, and Clorinde as a DPS is an excellent performer.

This team of Clorinde, Furina, Nahida and Xilonen cleared the run in 39 seconds, with a True DPS value of 5,30,000.

7) Kinich, Emilie, Furina, Bennett

Kinich and Emilie are a very strong duo with great synergy, which is amplified at higher constellations and weapon refinement ranks.

With Kinich as main DPS, Emilie and Furina as Sub-DPS units and Bennett as support, this team cleared their run in exactly 39 seconds. Their True DPS value stood at 4,82,000, putting them in seventh place right behind Clorinde's team.

8) Lyney, Furina, Xilonen, Bennett

Lyney is often overlooked as a DPS character, but he is a very strong contender for one of the strongest units in the game, especially at higher constellations.

This team — with Lyney as DPS, Furina as sub-DPS and Xilonen and Bennett as supports — cleared the run in 40 seconds, just one second behind Kinich's setup. They had a True DPS value of 5,17,000.

Two other teams that were not featured in ths list but performed extremely well were:

Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina, Xilonen (runtime of 52 seconds)
Ayaka, Shenhe, Kazuha, Xilonen (runtime of 72 seconds)
