Mavuika's kit has been leaked by many in the community, including Seele Leaks, Hakushin, and HomDGCat. All these leakers are pretty credible, with good track records. As per these leaks, Mavuika functions best in an on-field DPS role, but she can also be used in off-field Support roles.

Mavuika's Elemental Skill

Mavuika's Elemental Skill can be used in two ways: either by Tapping or by Holding. The effects provided by the Tap and the Hold usage are different in the following way:

1) Tap

Tapping Mavuika's Elemental Skill creates a flaming ring around the active character, which deals Pyro DMG to enemies nearby at an interval of two seconds.

2) Hold

Holding Mavuika's Elemental Skill creates a "Flamestrider" motorcycle, which Mavuika can ride. When atop the Flamestrider, Mavuika's movement speed drastically increases, and she can ride the motorcycle above water as well as in the air. While riding the Flamestrider, all of Mavuika's attacks (Normal, Plunging, Charged) will deal Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG that cannot be overridden.

Both the Tap and Hold versions of Mavuika's Elemental Skill last as long as she is in her Nightsoul's Blessing state. You can also switch between the two versions by tapping her Elemental Skill.

Mavuika's Elemental Burst

Mavuika's Elemental Burst is a little unique because she doesn't require any Energy to use it. Instead, she uses "Fighting Spirit" to charge her Burst. Mavuika requires 100 Fighting Spirit points to activate her Elemental Burst, and she can gain these points in the following ways:

  • When teammates attack enemies while in their Nightsoul's Blessing state, the Nightsoul points used up are converted to Fighting Spirit for Mavuika.
  • When teammates attack enemies using their Normal Attacks, every attack gives 1.5 Fighting Spirit to Mavuika.

Once Mavuika has 100 Fighting Spirit, she can activate her Elemental Burst. Upon using her Burst, Mavuika enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state and mounts her Flamestrider, dealing AoE Pyro DMG to opponents. She also enters the "Crucible of Death and Life" state.

During this Crucible of Death and Life state, Mavuika no longer consumes any Nightsoul Points, and her interruption RES is greatly increased. This state lasts for a total of seven seconds.

Mavuika's Constellations

  • C1: The maximum Nightsoul Points Mavuika can possess are increased to 120, and she can gain Fighting Spirit 25% more efficiently.
  • C2: When Mavuika is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state, her Base ATK is increased by 300. When she uses the Tap version of her Elemental Skill, nearby enemies' DEF is reduced by 20%. When she uses the Hold version of her Elemental Skill, the DMG dealt by Mavuika's Normal Attack and Charged Attack increases.
  • C3: Increases the maximum Talent Level of Mavuika's Elemental Burst by three.
  • C4: Increases the effects of her A2 Passive 'Kiongozi'.
  • C5: Increases the maximum Talent Level of Mavuika's Elemental Skill by three.
  • C6: Enhances the effects of her Elemental Skill. When the Tap version of her Elemental Skill is used, a Flamestrider will crash into opponents who are targeted by her flaming Pyro Ring, dealing 200% of her ATK. When the Hold version of her Elemental Skill is used, she will also additionally gain the flaming Ring from her Tap version, which will follow her around and deal 400% of her ATK to enemies every three seconds.

Mavuika's playstyle

As evident from Mavuika's kit, she can be played in multiple ways, depending on the players' preferences. Her ideal role in the team is that of an on-field DPS, but you can also play her as an off-field Pyro support.

Her A2 Passive increases the active character's DMG, meaning she can be played as a support for other DPS units such as Mualani. She also has great Pyro application (via the ring from her Elemental Skill Tap version), which can be useful in Vaporize teams.

However, Mavuika shines best as an on-field DPS/sub-DPS. She has great damage-dealing capabilities and is meant to play the role of a DPS, with other characters (such as Xilonen and Furina) supporting her. However, do keep in mind that to have a decent uptime on her Elemental Burst, she needs other Natlan characters in her team who can deal Nightsoul-aligned DMG and help her gain Fighting Spirit.
