Version 2.4 is set to release on July 31, 2024, and it brings exciting new content and characters for players. As mentioned above, Honkai Star Rail 2.4 will be released on July 31, 2024, at 11 am (UTC+8). Based on past patterns, servers will likely go down for maintenance around five hours prior to this, at 6 am (UTC+8).

New characters in Honkai Star Rail 2.4

Version 2.4 of Honkai Star Rail will feature two brand new characters, although in different Phases. Yunli, a 5-star Destruction unit makes her debut in Phase 1 of Honkai Star Rail 2.4, along with other character reruns. All the characters featured in Phase 1 are:

Yunli (5-star, Physical, Path of Destruction)
Huohuo (5-star, Wind, Path of Abundance)
Lynx (4-star, Quantum, Path of Abundance)
Yukong (4-star, Imaginary, Path of Harmony)
Hanya (4-star, Physical, Path of Harmony)

Phase 2, which goes live on August 21, 2024, sees the introduction of a new 5-star Nihility unit named Jiaoqiu. The other characters featured in this banner are:

Jiaoqiu (5-star, Fire, Path of Nihility)
Sparkle (5-star, Quantum, Path of Harmony)
Arlan (4-star, Lightning, Path of Destruction)
Guinaifen (4-star, Fire, Path of Nihility)
Hook (4-star, Fire, Path of Destruction)
