The developers have decided to move up the date for the livestream to a Wednesday this time around, starting the new year with a bang. Fans can look forward to a detailed look at both the featured characters and the upcoming Amphoreus region.

HoYoverse has announced the livestream date for the upcoming Honkai Star Rail update will take place on January 1, 2025, at 19:30 (UTC+8) on the official YouTube and Twitch channels. This certainly came as a surprise, as the Special Programs generally premiere on Fridays, and people expected the same this time around as well.

As stated in the official announcement post for the Special Program date, The Herta and Aglaea in Honkai Star Rail will make guest appearances, likely along with the host, Owlbert.

Besides a glimpse of upcoming story content, the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 livestream will also showcase the kits and animations for the featured characters, alongside rerun banners. The upcoming region of Amphoreus is obviously on the menu and we might get a detailed look at some of the models for the characters who are set to play a major role in the upcoming story.

Additionally, the livestream will feature three codes that you can exchange in-game for rewards like Stellar Jades, Credits, and more.
