With Hades 2’s official release around the corner, fans of the first title will get to enjoy a technical test if they are selected for it. Supergiant Games has announced that players can sign up for the technical test, but not everyone will be chosen. There will be a fair bit of RNG involved with the process, and it will come down to how lucky you are if you wish to get in.

So if you are looking to apply for the Hades 2 technical test, below are some things that need to be observed.


Hades 2 technical test sign-up guide

To sign up for the Hades 2 technical test you will first need to make sure that you have an active Steam account. Now follow these necessary steps:

  • Launch Steam or go to the official Steam website on your PC. Sign into your account and then go to the Hades 2 Steam page.
  • Now scroll down and under the Planned release date section you will find the “Join the Hades 2 Playtest” section.
  • All you will need to do now is to sign up. If you are selected you will get an email notification from Steam.

If you are a Content Creator, you will be able to request access to the technical test through Keymailer. However, receiving the invite will still depend on how lucky you are.


Hades 2 technical test system requirements

Before you gain access to the technical test, you will need to make sure that you have the following system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit (or Steam Deck)
  • Processor: Dual Core 2.4 GHz
  • Memory: 4GB RAMF
  • Graphics: 2GB VRAM / DirectX 12+ support

You will not be able to enjoy the early access if you fail to match the necessary hardware for the game.


How long is the Hades 2 technical test expected to last

Supergiant Games are yet to officially reveal when the technical test will be taking place or how long it will be lasting. However, it’s expected to be a couple of weeks, but that too will depend on the amount of bugs and issues that the game is facing.
