Collect the Three Mysterious Circles

The Secret Ending requires finding three mysterious circles hidden behind puzzles and challenging side quests in Thedas.

1) Arlathan Forest (Waterfront Glades Puzzle)

Prerequisite: Complete Davrin's How to Train a Griffon companion quest to unlock the area.

Steps to Solve the Laser Puzzle:

• Laser 1: Location — South of Waterfront Glades, by the crumbling ruins. Aim it at the device below the next laser.
• Laser 2: Location — Above Laser 1. Aim at the device near the trees in the middle of the area.
• Laser 3: Location — North of the Glades, past a wooden beam. Use the lever to lower the gate, and collect the power crystal to insert near the laser. Aim at the device between the trees.
• Laser 4: Location — Northeast of the Glades. Retrieve the power crystal from nearby boxes, insert it into the device, and aim the laser at the arch on the central island.

Mini-Boss: Guardian of Secrets (Level 26).

• Weakness: Electricity
• Resistance: Cold

After completing the puzzle and defeating the Guardian, you can find the Circle behind the Timelost Hoard.

2) Grand Necropolis (Pinnacle of its Kind)

Prerequisite: Unlock the Chamber of the Unforged via the Restless Spirits side quest.

To get this Circle you will need to complete the Pinnacle of its Kind and defeat the Formless One.

Hunt and defeat three Formless One bosses:

• Dock Town: Weak to Necrosis, resistant to Electricity.
• Arlathan Forest: Weak to Electricity, resistant to Necrosis.
• Hossberg: Weak to Cold, resistant to Fire.

Return to the sealed door to face the Formless One's final form, an undead dragon (Level 45).

• Weakness: Necrosis
• Resistance: Electricity

Defeat the dragon, complete the Pinnacle of its Kind quest, and unlock the room with the circle.

The Crossroads (Heart of Corruption Quest)

Prerequisite: Completing the Regrets of the Dreadwolf quest helps significantly.

To get the last circle, complete the Heart of Corruption Quest and defeat the Revenant Dragon. Beware; this is the hardest boss in the game.

Final Boss: Revenant Dragon (Level 50).
