Steps to unlock new characters in the Clash of Clans Clan Capital

Rebuild Barracks from old ruins in the Clan Capital's districts to unlock new characters. This will cost a certain amount of Capital Gold. Note that unlocking fresh characters will cost rebuilding character-specific Barracks, and upgrading them will only level up the unlocked character and won't yield a new troop.

Rebuilding a new Barrack is better said than done since it not only costs Capital Gold but also requires you to upgrade or rebuild other buildings, including the Capital District.

Here's a step-by-step guide to unlocking a new character:

Step 1: Open Clash of Clans on your device, click on the Airship available at the Home Village, and head to the Clan Capital map.
Step 2: Tap on a district and search for a ruin of a Barrack.
Step 3: Contribute by donating your Capital Gold.

Once the required amount of Capital Gold has been donated, the Barrack will be rebuilt, unlocking a new character.

How to collect Capital Gold in the Clash of Clans Clan Capital?

Since Capital Gold isn't mined via a resource collector-building like other in-game currencies, you must obtain it via Forge or Raid Weekends.

Forge yields a certain amount of free Capital Gold when you first enter. The next free amount will be available after 24 hours. Moreover, you can use Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir, or Builder Base Gold or Elixir to create the same.

Following are the exchange rates to craft Capital Gold:

6,000,000 Home Village Gold: 2,000 Capital Gold.
6,000,000 Home Village Elixir: 2,000 Capital Gold.
60,000 Dark Elixir: 2000 Capital Gold.
2,400,000 Builder Base Gold: 1600 Capital Gold.
2,400,000 Builder Base Elixir: 1600 Capital Gold.

During Raid Weekends, if you three-star an opponent's village, you receive a lot of Capital Gold. Additionally, if you do this without using your entire army, the remaining troop's housing space count will transform into Capital Gold and be credited to your account. Note that you can only store up to 25,000 Capital Gold.
