Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is all set to launch digitally December 9. and the Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics treated us to their second developer diary video. The first four-player cooperative multiplayer game in the series was announced at the recently held E3 2014.
Developer Crystal Dynamics blog read "the team worked passionately to put the very best game we could in your hands." The newly released developer diary, details the game’s puzzles. Executive Producer Scot Amos is joined by Lead Level Designer Jeff Wajcs, who discuss the difficult task of perfectly challenging a player. Take a peek at the mirrors, time bombs, twisting gears, and falling platforms you’ll need to manipulate to solve your way out of trouble, alone or with friends.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. In her new adventure, Lara Croft travels to Egypt and must join forces with rival treasure hunter Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis to defeat the evil god Set. The players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. All the while, gamers will compete for treasure, powerful artefacts, and ultimate bragging rights. It was confirmed in the announcement Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is part of the Legend time-line, along with official confirmation that Keeley Hawes will reprise her role as Lara Croft. For those unaware, Hawes reprises her role as Lara in the Legend trilogy (Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Legend, and Tomb Raider Underworld), in addition to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
