Monster Train 2 is an exciting roguelike strategy title exclusively available for Microsoft Windows users. The game has been out for a while now and has been receiving regular updates and patches ever since. Its v1.1.2 patch was rolled out recently, bringing several improvements to Monster Train 2.   • Fixed a softlock when the ‘Twisting Mycelium’ artifact is present under rare circumstances.
  • Fixed a softlock caused by combinations of Reanimate, Burnout, and Harvest under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a Cluster Colonel spawned Funguy making the front friendly character unplayable under rare conditions.
  • Fixed Mooncaller unit's Mooncycle trigger bonus not applying to the 'Fae's Nook' artifact.
  • Fixed Fhyra's Greed Pyre Heart not granting money when taking pyre damage from Celestial Alcove events.
  • Fixed bug where Trample would not work in a room with Imprisoned Zephyr.
  • Fixed bug where Titan damage and status popups would not appear in the correct location.
  • Fixed the option to abandon a Relentless battle going on for many rounds not actually abandoning the battle.
  • Fixed visual issues with TFB background.
  • Fixed a sorting issue with Chosen VFX.
  • Fixed Astreal the Lost having incorrect Titan affinity VFX.
  • Fixed Mooncaller feet, reanimate visuals, and relentless debris not being clipped by the floor properly.

  • Fixed bug where restarting a battle in the middle of playing Soldier of Fortune or similar unit-drawing cards could leave a card stuck on-screen.

  • Fixed bug where Sacrificial Chamber would not trigger for bosses.
  • Fixed 'Penitent's Bloodsuit' on a Monster not triggering 'Taskmaster's Lash' when the character shifts.
  • Fixed bug where Canio, Yorrick, Kwilling Catcher, and Avarice were not impacted by the Tithe or Moneybag mutators.
  • Fixed Corruption status effect being unaffected by Propagate effects.
  • Fixed 'Spotted Spore' artifact only granting one bonus per spell cast instead of one bonus per Troop stack added.
  • Fixed the 'Split Anvil' artifact incorrectly leaving a cost bonus on spell copies sent directly to the discard pile (ex: Spreading Spores, Contagious).
  • Fixed 'Mushy Room' card text not showing bonus effects of the Duality Mutator.
  • Fixed bug where Silence from enchantments would not properly suppress Spawn triggers.
  • Fixed Inhale not spawning a Funguy when it slays a Monster unit in a room at max character limit.
  • Fixed missing Ephemeral tooltip for Ekka's Lunar Echo ability.
  • Fixed various typos in English.

UI changes in Monster Train 2

  • Added a button to the Mix selection screen to hide the draft options so players can see the state of the battle before making their choice.
  • Celestial Alcove events with 2 rewards now display tooltips and are stacked instead of side by side.
  • Moved Calcified Ember notification to the bottom of the cards in the draft screen and added a glow around it to draw more attention to it.
  • In the Battle Intro screen, fixed the enemy on the pedestal sometimes only having a small hover area for tooltips in battle intro screen.
  • The Dragon’s Hoard “Loot” button sheen is now disabled when you have zero Dragon's Hoard.
  • Updated Battle Name, Waves Remaining and Community Challenges Name layout to fix bug with some overlapping elements.
  • Upgrade names should no longer overlap custom challenge names in the Light Forge screen.
  • In the Run Opening screen, adjust the OK button to render below any tooltips from cards that might overlap it.
  • Fixed some tooltips for Covenant buffs not showing up in battle preview.
  • Updated layout of Trials so that the Trial description text and Trials toggle button do not overlap in some languages.
  • New unlocks are now immediately notified after leaving story dialogues.
  • Fixed preventing clan and pyre heart selection dialogs from closing when clicking inside them, but not on the clan or pyre heart items.
  • Fixed minor positioning issue with the champion upgrade screen card frames.
  • Boss starter status effect and matching Covenant status effect stack counts are now combined when showing tooltips outside of combat.
  • Merchant voice over now occurs half as often.
  • Made minor layout adjustment to dimensional challenges layout to center content a little better.

  • Fixed bug where Morsel mastery would not be preserved between game sessions properly, and in the original session where it's established would erroneously count toward unlocks that key off card mastery.
  • Fixed silence not blocking triggers on Steelsinger, Bounty Stalker, Gorger, and Little Icarus (Little Fade Upgrades).
  • Fixed Funguy Troop stacks not being correctly adjusted when multiple 'Razorsharp Edge' spells are cast on them.
