The most used characters from the previous edition have also changed, as Spiral Abyss had a completely different lineup in some of its late stages in version 4.8 compared to version 4.7. This rotation of Spiral Abyss was much more manageable and easier than the previous lineup, which proved to be one of the toughest yet.

Zhongli is a great Support/Sub-DPS character who provides a nearly indestructible shield to protect your characters during battle while reducing the enemy's resistance.

Hydro Archon Furina was the second most used character in this version of Spiral Abyss, with a usage rate of 86%. She is an excellent off-field Hydro DPS unit who deals a significant amount of damage from her Elemental Skill. She can also provide massive buffs to your characters using her Elemental Burst.

In third and fourth place are Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha, with usage rates of 78.9% and 76.1%, respectively. Neuvillette is a strong Hydro main DPS character, who is usually teamed with Kazuha because of the latter's ability to swirl Hydro. This boosts the former's hydro damage significantly and lowers the enemy's resistance to the element.
