Anno 117: Pax Romana finally has an official release date, and it's a lot closer than most would think. You'll be able to build a bustling city as you see fit, and eventually, with a lot of effort, you may even be able to build the Colosseum. Of course, you will start from humble beginnings, but it's the journey that will keep you on your toes.

The title is planned to go live on November 13, 2025. That's roughly five months from today (June 9, 2025), and the developers will likely use this time to polish the game. There could be playtest sessions as well for players to attend, but it's far too soon to state anything at the moment.

Editions

Currently, the Standard and Gold editions of the game are listed on Steam, Ubisoft Connect, and the Xbox Store. These will cost $59.99 and $89.99, respectively. On Ubisoft, there's an alternative offering for the Gold edition, which is $17.99/month with Ubisoft+. Here's what both editions contain:

Standard:

Builder Pack (Pre-Order Bonus): Wolf Player Sigil, Battle Standard, Town Crier Statue, and Capitoline Wolf Statue.

Gold:

Builder Pack (Pre-Order Bonus): Wolf Player Sigil, Battle Standard, Town Crier Statue, and Capitoline Wolf Statue.
Year 1 Pass (3 DLCs and Day 1 Content.

If you want something more, you can get the Governor's edition by pre-ordering it at select retail outlets. There's also a Collector's edition, but there's no information on it for the time being. Ubisoft is currently surveying to conclude what players would like to see in this edition. We'll likely get an update closer to the release date.

Platforms

Anno 117: Pax Romana will be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows. If you're a console player, this is surely some good news. You won't have to hunch over your keyboard while laying out roads.
