On July 3, 2024, G2 Esports signed Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski to their official CS2 roster. The player was acquired from his former team, GamerLegion. G2 Esports has seen several roster changes over the last few months. The organization had benched nexa as well as former in-game leader, HooXi. After much speculation, it was revealed that malbsMd will be joining the team after being acquired from M80. Now, the last empty slot has been filled by Snax.

G2 signs Snax right ahead of the Esports World Cup, where the team will be participating in the CS2 tournament that has a massive prize pool of $1,000,000.

G2 signs Snax instead of Stewie2k, a move that may have left many fans confused since the latter helped the team win IEM Dallas. After the benching of nexa, many fans speculated that the fan favorite may be next in line to be added to the roster.

However, in a surprising turn of events, G2 has finalized their last player to complete their roster after nexa and HooXi were benched. As of today, Bleed Esports announced that they had acquired nexa. Thus, it is clear that the player has quickly found another team to play with.

HooXi's future, however, remains uncertain. G2 signs Snax today, right ahead of the Esports World Cup, ensuring that the player has enough time to get familiar with the roster.

Snax previously played under teams like Virtus.pro and Anonymo Esports. In fact, He is a veteran of the Counter-Strike franchise and has been playing the games since 2010.

G2 has had a difficult time managing the roster after winning at IEM Dallas. Their renowned AWPer m0NESY ran into issues with international travel, preventing him from participating in the team's opening matches during the BLAST Spring Premier in 2024.

The team's coach, TaZ, had to step in to keep the team in the tournament. However, G2 eventually lost to Vitality, the same team they defeated to win IEM Dallas.

Now that G2 Esports has signed Snax, fans can see him perform with the team starting July 17 in the CS2 tournament at the Esports World Cup.
