Hogwarts Legacy patch notes (July 12, 2024, update) revealed

A new Hogwarts Legacy patch arrived on July 12, 2024. The latest update seeks to address several crash issues that have been plaguing players, including the Fidelity Mode crash and Photo Mode problems. The PC version for this update is 1228792, and the XSX/PS5 version is 1231491.

Along with the patch notes, the devs also cautioned Windows 11 players to not switch on Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling from the in-game settings if they are using a 4000 series Nvidia graphics card.

Fixed instance where the Dark Lightning Broom could not be obtained when continuing a previous save after downloading and installing the latest patch. HL-18766

Localization:

Fixed incorrect Arabic translation in circular taped glasses pop-up reward screen message.

Photo mode:

Fixed instances where toggling the HIDE NPCs option didn’t work with some students, dragons, dementors.
Fixed instances where lack of collision would allow players to see OOW through dungeons’ ceilings.

Fixed instance where enabling Fidelity mode while activating Raytracing would eventually cause the game to crash. HL-18650
