YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" has once again proven why he might be the top dog in the streaming scene. The streamer received a personalized invitation from Antonio Rüdiger, the Real Madrid defender, to come and hang out with fellow Los Blancos players in the hotel they were staying at in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Darren was in the Etihad Stadium yesterday (April 17), rooting for the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners. The Spanish giants eventually did manage to win against the reigning champions Manchester City after beating them 4-3 via penalty shootouts.
After the match, IShowSpeed even got to meet with Rüdiger, who scored the winning penalty goal. The German defender extended an invitation to the streamer, stating:
"Let's link at the hotel."

YouTube streamer IShowSpeed frequently demonstrates his international stardom by rubbing shoulders with renowned celebrities and athletes worldwide. Antonio Rüdiger was the latest star to make an appearance on his stream.
Following Real Madrid's victory against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, Rüdiger even caught up with the streamer. The defender said:
"Let's link at the hotel. Meet you at the hotel...just come and chill."
One of Darren's entourage responded by stating:
"They can sometimes be funny...hotels are like, 'No, you are not allowed'."
Despite the concern, Rüdiger assured that the YouTuber and his team would face no such occlusion from the security of the hotel. The defender re-assured, stating:
"Oh, no, no, no, no. Don't worry about that. I will let my securities know."
Darren was naturally pleased with the sudden invitation. The streamer later took to his community group on X.com (Speed Gang), stating that he might not stream. He did however hint that he might record a video which will be uploaded on his YouTube channel. He wrote:
"I just didn't wanna force a stream for two minutes after I met him and he told me to come at this spot for a proper meeting. I might make a video though instead of streaming."
Of course, this wouldn't be the first time IShowSpeed was invited to a player's hotel. Back in July 2023, the streamer visited a hotel in Japan where the PSG players were staying. Darren even had the opportunity to meet Brazilian star Neymar Jr. and filmed a TikTok video with him.
