Matthew “Mizkif” recently suffered an unfortunate death in WoW Classic Hardcore. Around level 11, the streamer was grouped with Russel in the Alliance area known as Loch Modan. While crossing a part of the Loch itself, the pair would find themselves under attack by a large group of enemies. Sadly, Matthew didn’t make it out alive, losing his character and flying into a fit of rage in the process.

However, his chat found it to be a hilarious moment. Village People’s “YMCA” blared in the background as he desperately tried to escape his fate. While viewers may have found it funny, Mizkif screamed in anger repeatedly, blaming his teammate for the death in WoW Classic Hardcore.

Mizkif flies into a rage after a death in WoW Classic Hardcore

(Clip begins at 5:19:46)

As the clip began, Russel, known as Pocketwanker on this particular WoW Classic character, screamed out that he was actually dead. Meanwhile, Mizkif was being chased down by a group of Kobolds, trying to swim across the water as he was being repeatedly attacked. As the chase continued, it was clear the streamer was getting angrier and angrier:

“Russel, I’m actually dead! How did you pull all these?! Russel, I’m actually f**king dead!”

As Mizkif’s level 11 Human Warrior died in the waters of Loch Modan, he got up from his desk and smashed his fists into it. The sudden movement to his feet was enough to knock down the table behind the streamer, as fans just watched and laughed as he had a meltdown over his WoW Classic Hardcore character:

“Russel, you f**king idiot! You idiot! You idiot Russel! You f**king idiot! You killed me Russel! You f**king idiot!”

The streamer would keep screaming and raging for a few more seconds, but it’s unknown what he said immediately after the clip. Since the stream was using copyrighted music, this portion of his angry rant was cut off.

However, a bit later into the stream, they would watch back the footage, and it appears that Mizkif caused the pull and, thus, was responsible for the death in WoW Classic Hardcore. One enemy got away from the two of them, and when it returned, a group of other enemies came with it.

This only made the moment funnier for the streamer’s chat since the angry rant was completely unjustified, and Mizkif falsely blamed his friend for the death in the hardcore MMORPG mode. It was said that at least 50% of the blame was on Matthew. He would resume his hardcore grind, though, after a stern talking to.

A few users on Reddit made light of how long it took the streamer to even hit level 11 in the first place. One mocked the five hours it took, and another suggested that it should only take about two hours to reach level 10 or 11.

It’s not a difficult level to achieve in WoW Classic Hardcore, but when streaming, the player may often find themselves distracted.

Another player would point out Mizkif’s own words about WoW Classic Hardcore. Earlier in the stream, the OTK member suggested that if you die, you shouldn’t be allowed to relevel. This sadly came back to haunt him, as he perished at only level 11.

Most people just found it hilarious. Others made fun of the streamer receiving free in-game items from his viewers instead of working hard himself to get ready and survive this challenging game mode.

Ultimately, the Twitch streamer would resume leveling on a new character. But it didn’t change how funny this would become for his audience, potentially creating a new meme, thanks to the comical timing of the YMCA song.
