Rumors about the Persona 4 Remake have been circulating online ever since Atlus released Persona 3 Reload, a remade version of the third game in the Megami Tensei spin-off series. Weeks prior to the Xbox Games Showcase, several voice actors, including the renowned Yuri Lowenthal, dropped some teases regarding them not reprising their roles in the P4 Remake.
ATLUS finally confirmed the existence of the Persona 4 Remake, now titled Revival, with a new trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 that took place on June 8. The trailer finally gave a glimpse at the now revamped town of Inaba, alongside the protagonist, Yu Narukami.
It has been seven long years since Persona 4 Golden came out, giving us the definitive story of the game, and when we last saw Inaba, with Yu and his friends. The journey ever since the train departed the town's station has been long, but we have finally come full circle. Although release dates are yet to be announced, Persona 4 Revival is set to come out on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.
The trailer not only showcased a new look of the iconic Central Shopping District, but also the Yasogami High School, Samegawa Flood Plain, and the Tatsuhime Shrine. Yu also got an enhanced look, as now the game will finally allow you to rotate the camera, similar to many areas of Persona 3 Reload.
