During the second day of the World Cup Main Event, Tencent revealed the slots distribution for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. The iconic event will be played in the two phases; League Stage and Grand Finals. The initial stage will take place in November, while the Grand Finals are planned from December 6 to 8, 2024, at the Excel Auditorium, in London, United Kingdom.The total prize pool of the Global Championship is $3 million, the same as its 2023 season. A total of 49 teams will take part in the tournament, of which 48 will participate in the League Stage. A total of 48 teams from around the world will first compete in the League Stage. 15 squads from this stage will be selected for the Grand Finals, where one team from the United Kingdom will directly receive an invite to participate.The PMGC 2024 will be the third international PUBG Mobile event of the year. The first major event to hit 2024 was the PMGO Brazil, with the World Cup (PMWC) currently underway in Riyadh, KSA, and set to conclude on July 28. This mega event also features $3 million in prize money. After this event, teams will prepare themselves for their regional fall season events to reach the Global Championship.
