Released on November 13, 2024, Temtem Swarm is expected to stay a year in steady development. The first major update will introduce these additions as per the official roadmap:
Update 1:
- New map: Omninesia
- Two new playable Temtem
- Spots Rework
- More Swarm Behavior
- Balance, Polishes, and More!
As of writing, the game has seven playable Temtem, each playing differently from one another, and five maps, all of which are ever-increasing in challenge and difficulty. Further reworks should make the balance fairer to newcomers while new content keeps the experience fresh. That isn't all, however:
Future update:
- 3 new maps
- 4 new playable Temtem
- Challenge Modes
- Co-op Pings
- Tempedia
- Luna & Umbras

Assuming this is all for the early access period, the total number of Temtem and maps in the game will be 13 monsters and 9 levels, respectively. Further Challenge modes (which remain locked as of now) should let players test their devastating builds in tough arenas.
The Tempedia should add a bestiary featuring all Temtem, both playable and otherwise, to keep track of. Lastly, Luma and Umbra are the Shiny Pokemon equivalent of Temtem — these rare creatures are alternately colored with a distinct glow effect.
All of these should give fans a reason to look forward to future updates. Apart from these listed promises, the team aims to implement further important features, such as key remapping, improved performance, and Steam Deck verified status.
Temtem Swarm early access is available on PC.
