Temtem is a Pokemon inspired MMORPG, that is developed by the Spanish development studio Crema. The game is essentially a monster-collector in which the main objective is to tame every Temtem available in the game’s universe. Temem’s storyline revolves around the main character and his/her journey throughout the six islands. Players will battle numerous NPC as well as real players in their journey to become the biggest Tamer.
Much like Pokemon an evil organization that goes by the name of Clan Belsoto, is trying to take over all the six islands by force and players have to deal with them and their shenanigans while in their journey.
Apart from the main storyline, players can indulge in co-op mode that is available in the game. You can team with a friend or a random stranger and compete against other tamers from around the world. Temtem combat-system is very strategical and unlike Pokemon doesn’t have any RNG elements to it. According to Crema, the game will minimize the RNG in the competitive play, which includes things like Critical Rate, Evasiveness, and Accuracy, all of which are quite common in Pokemon.

How many Temtem are available in the game?
As of now, 80 Temtem are available in the game. However, Crema has confirmed that the total roster will be 161+ and more Temtem will be added to the game soon.
What are the types of Temtem?
As of now, 12 types of Temtem are known and available in the game. These are-

- Nature
- Electric
- Earth
- Mental
- Wind
- Digital
- Melee
- Crystal
- Toxic
All the typings are unique and bring something different to the table. They have different synergies and are strong/weak against different typings. These Temtem are spread across the entire region and players will encounter them as they progress in their journey.
What are the starters for Temtem?
Players can get their hands on one of the three starters after meeting Professor Konstantinos in his lab. Prof. Konstantinos will offer you to pick one Temtem out of Houchic, Smazee or Crystle. These starters are of the following type-
Houchic- Mental
Smazee- Melee
Crystle- Crystal
All of these starters have an evolution that can be achieved by leveling up the Temtem. Here are the evolutions for the starters.

Temtem was made available globally on January 21, 2020. The game currently is in early access and Crema is continuously working to improve the game. The game is available on Steam, Humble Bundle and Discord. The price of the game is as follows-

Temtem update
The game is in early access and will be in the same for the foreseeable future. Even though Temtem is playable, it’s not finished and still needs polishing. Crema has been working on the game and are will deal with bugs and glitches as it comes. The download size for the game on Steam (1.1GB) which later unpacks into 5GB.
Will Temtem come to other platforms?
Crema has confirmed that Temtem will come to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch soon. However, the game is only available on PC as of now.
Will Temtem support cross-platform?
Temtem will fully support cross-platform when the game comes on other platforms. However, the dates for other platform releases have not been revealed yet.
